Amy Silvers is a UX researcher and designer living and working in the New York City area. Over a career of more than 15 years, she has worked for a variety of agencies and companies, for clients ranging from giant corporations to small nonprofits.She holds a master’s in library and information science and is a former children’s book editor.

Amy’s current passion is helping designers, researchers, and product managers go beyond conducting research to actually using research. She presented a talk on this at the 2017 O’Reilly Design conference and at the IA Summit that same year. She and co-presenter Lori Widelitz-Cavallucci have given numerous talks and workshops on the topic of Impostor Syndrome. Amy is also interested in the topic of designing for natural and human-made disasters, and has presented on that topic at EuroIA and Giant Conference. You can find Amy on Twitter at @A_Silvers.
