As Canada celebrates its 150th year of confederation this year, Native children go to bed hungry and drink tainted water. Muslims are gunned down in a mosque. Gay pride symbols are vandalized. Female politicians receive death threats. Swastikas are spray painted on school buildings in the night. It’s easy to see we’re still not all equal. But each of us have opportunities in our work, in our lives, to effect change. It’s time to use our creative skills to work toward a better world.
