Catherine leads the product design team for the Enterprise group at Coursera. They envision a world where anyone, anywhere can transform their life by accessing the world’s best learning experience.
She combines creative ideas, well honed leadership skills, a dedication to results-driven design, and a savvy understanding of the business of designing successful teams and interfaces for technical products producing streamlined and considered work product.
Catherine’s design career began in Monterey, California at a very small graphic design studio shortly after receiving her BFA. Over the years, she’s honed her design and leadership skills working for a variety of clients, agencies and businesses in a wide range of markets from agriculture to high-tech, leading teams to create award-winning design. She’s always thrilled to talk about design and she has given a few talks on the subject, including a TEDx talk on the power of gamification.
The thing Catherine loves to do most is make beautiful things that people love to use. She gets to do that every day at her job, and it’s amazing.
