Mia Blume is a product designer and design leadership coach living in San Francisco. Currently, she advises companies on how to build useful, well-crafted products and shape healthy design organizations.
Through coaching, Mia helps design leaders tackle some of their most complicated challenges using a collaborative, creative approach. Mia practices the Co-Active methodology of coaching which focuses on developing active, collaborative relationships to inspire direction and action. She also founded the Within leadership retreat.
Previously, she led design and research teams at Pinterest, Square, and IDEO. She has designed at scale for both Fortune 500 companies and startups, developed international products, and built teams in rapid growth environments.
She’s previously spoken at Source 2017, Designers & Geeks, GigaOM Roadmap, Accel Conference, Melbourne International Design Week and more.
