Taneen brings a team-centric and agile approach to organizational design. Currently, she is the VP of People at Philosophie, an innovation studio based in Los Angeles and New York. As a hands-on practitioner, she experiments with solutions to real team problems (and has plenty of stories and lessons from the trenches). Prior to Philosophie, Taneen led People Operations at a VR/AR studio. She’s also served as General Counsel and Head of People for a national education advocacy start-up, where she built the HR function and authored/lobbied for language now codified in federal education law. She’s spoken at UCLA, Stanford, and at Design/HR panels in Los Angeles. Taneen also partners with UCLA’s Diversity Program to produce an annual mentorship program for youth.
