Amanda is a Director of Product Design at Facebook, managing the Profile & Search teams. Prior to Facebook, Amanda was the head of design at Asana. At Asana she was responsible for product & marketing design, as well as the Asana brand. Prior to that, she was the Director of User Experience for Intuit’s Small Business division. There, she led the redesign of Intuit Quickbooks web and mobile products, and also managed their payroll and payments experiences. Amanda has an MBA and a BS in visual communication from UC Davis.
As a manager, she believes in recognition, transparency, and iterative learning. When she’s not working, she’s a mom, a painter, a writer, and an aspiring master chef.
