I lead product, data science, and engineering teams to build great products and deliver unique solutions to hard problems.

I’m passionate about creating collaborative and diverse teams that blend the unique expertise of humans with the incredible capabilities of massive data, algorithms, and highly usable interfaces.

I’ve spent my career working with both data and people to build software solutions that make an impact. I’ve provided vision and direction for a wide variety of projects and teams, from ecommerce in the early days of Amazon, to compensation data at PayScale, to building web platforms and applying machine learning in the $70B TV advertising industry.

Most recently, I took the startup I joined in 2010 through multiple product pivots, a successful acquisition by AOL, and launching the world’s first programmatic data-driven TV buying platform, all while growing and retaining a team of fantastic engineers, data scientists, and product managers.

I’ve also applied my skills in the nonprofit sector as Executive Director for GeekGirlCon, which celebrates the contribution of women & girls to science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). In my three years leading the organization, I grew their annual convention from 4,000 to over 8,500 attendees and led an all-volunteer staff of over 30 people in year-round positions.

After taking some time off to recharge after eight years of startup life, I’m now exploring my next leadership role. I’m particularly excited about digging in to massive messy data challenges, complex human interactions, or seemingly intractable problems.
