I’m currently the Director of Product Design at Yahoo!, overseeing design for Fantasy Sports.
Before that, I managed UX teams in Shopify’s Growth org, focusing on SMB/mid-market growth and retail growth. I was a Senior Manager of Content Strategy and Experience Design Lead of Wayfair’s Loyalty & FinTech pod.
I received my Ph.D. in American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where I spent several years as a researcher, writer, and educator. My bread and butter was distilling complex concepts into plain language and spearheading multidisciplinary research projects.
In my other past lives, I’ve also focused on building a space for community dialogue and connection online, whether as a digital communications strategist, social media manager, editorial board member, or journalist.
