Chelsea Watson is a UX designer, experience strategist, design instructor, wannabe generative artist and human-loving introvert. Her approach to creative direction combines experience strategy, design thinking and customer research, all with a relentless focus on the end user. Over the last decade, she’s worked with a wide range of clients including Walmart, AT&T, Visa and Nissan, combining a visual design background with experience in content strategy, inbound marketing and technical writing to create insight lead, user oriented digital products.
Chelsea’s passionate about addressing mental health and injustice in the design community, applying a design thinking approach to build actionable strategic backlogs for her team to move initiatives forward in the workplace. Her community involvement includes partnering with local school groups to lead design workshops for Black and marginalized youth, and sitting as the Program Director for the Miami Ad School’s inaugural UX Bootcamp. She’s also recently endeavoured to explore computational design, learning how to make generative art by coding 100 designs in 100 days. Chelsea currently leads exceptional creative teams on a diverse set of projects as an Associate Creative Director at Publicis Sapient in Toronto, Canada. She really, really loves what she does.
