Christina Koehn is a Principal Design Manager at Microsoft, where she started working as a UX Designer in 2009. She was born and raised in Bellingham, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a BFA in Visual Communication Design in 2007. Christina recently completed her first full Ironman triathlon (swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, run 26.2 miles). Christina is also a co-founder of the Women in Design initiative at Microsoft; the mission of Women in Design is to empower women by supporting professional growth, celebrating achievements, and cultivating relationships within and beyond the design community, with the aim to cultivate awareness of gender-related issues and elevate the influence of women leaders in design within our industry. Christina is passionate about design systems and creative direction, and currently leads a team of designers who work across multiple products to envision cohesive, branded experiences for Microsoft.
