Daniela Jorge is the Chief Design Officer at Capital One where she works across the company to advance a deep understanding of customers and associates to help envision and deliver on the future of Capital One experiences.
Daniela brings more than 20 years of industry-leading experience with a proven track record of unlocking the business value of design. Prior to Capital One, she spent seven years at PayPal as Chief Design Officer. Before PayPal, she worked at AT&T, eBay, Intuit, Yahoo!, Kaiser Permanente, and Kodak.
A lead architect of inclusive, responsible, and human-centered design practices and broad design thinking application, Daniela has led product and UX design for digital marketplaces, e-commerce, and cross-functional platforms serving a broad range of users. She has extensive expertise in scaling large, mature design organizations, inspiring design-driven product innovation, elevating design as a strategic differentiator, and transforming the user experience into competitive advantage.
Daniela also serves on the board of directors of Mr. Cooper and BayBrazil, and is a board advisor at Loft. A native of Brazil, Daniela lives in Mountain View, CA.
