Elysé is an experienced communications strategist and a human centered design practitioner, with a demonstrated history of working in higher education.
Elysé provides leadership for UVA Library’s Assessment, Communications, and User Experience division, overseeing assessment, communications and content strategy, digital accessibility, UX design, and UX research, and manages the University’s Academic Captioning Program. Their work is rooted in human-centered storytelling, evidence-based decision-making, and studying human behavior patterns to enhance user experiences, engagement, and accessibility.
