Jessica Teal is the owner and principal of Teal Media, a full-service creative agency with a conscience. Before founding Teal, Jessica served as Design Manager for the 2008 Obama presidential campaign where she oversaw the visual design and development of all web and print materials. Prior to the campaign, Jessica worked for Blue State Digital, the National Gallery of Art, the Democratic National Committee, and the Office of the Clerk of the U.S. House of Representatives. Jessica has nearly twenty years of design and development experience. In addition to providing the creative vision for Teal Media clients, Jessica served as a special consultant to the Obama White House, advising on digital strategy, user experience, and visual design. She was recently named in the top 5 “2018 Responsible Designers to Watch” by Graphic Design USA, has been featured in Forbes as part of the ongoing Self-Made Women series, and has been a speaker at SXSW Interactive, NTEN, NOI, RootsCamp, and Netroots Nation.
