Karen Kaushansky is a Conversation Designer and Product Designer, working to define and design interactions 5-10 years before they are on most radars – speech recognition, conversational UIs, autonomous vehicles, mixed reality, and human-robot interactions. Karen creates meaningful and connected experiences in the physical world spanning hardware and software; she started working on designing voice and interactive audio experiences in 1996. Karen currently works for Google in Switzerland. Past employers and clients include: Magic Leap, Tellme/Microsoft, Nuance, Jawbone, Samsung, Zoox, [24]7 and LEGO.
