Kim Lenox currently leads the product design organization at Zendesk. She is responsible for driving strategic priorities and scaling the impact of an international team of product designers, researchers, content strategists, and front-end developers as the company moves upmarket.
Prior to Zendesk, Kim led the design of product experiences for 24 years at technology companies like LinkedIn, Samsung, and Palm/HP. She also spent time at design consultancies, including LUNAR and Adaptive Path. Her approach to leading design organizations is rooted in empowering her teams to unearth what inspires them to be the best at their craft.
She also supports the development of the design community though hosting events and speaking locally and internationally. In 2006, she co-founded IxDA-SF and served on the Board of Directors for the Interaction Design Association (IxDA) from 2011 to 2015. When she’s not at work, you can find her mingling at a design community event, camping in the redwoods, or enjoying time with her husband and twin fourth graders.
