Named as one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business, 2017, Lauryn has designed and developed physical and digital products including several years focused on wearable technology/ AR platforms. She holds 14 design and utility patents for her work at Snap Inc and led the Snap hardware team that was awarded with 3 Gold Cannes Lions awards in Product Design and Design in 2017.

Currently on sabbatical, Lauryn has been studying the compounding global issues of the antiquated linear economy and the future role of Industrial Design. She is exploring solutions that address the overconsumption of new physical goods and the proliferation of single use materials. Her sabbatical case studies are grounded in regenerative design solutions and systems that are clever, beautiful, and abundant.

She enjoys the ambiguity and responsibility that accompanies solving new problems, and is thrilled by the potential for new technologies and new mindsets to come together to create positive outcomes for our world.
