Leah leads the Service Design and User Experience teams at Widen Enterprises, a marketing software company with headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin. She takes a human-centered approach to providing actionable research insights that inform design strategy throughout the company. A librarian by training, she brings curiosity and a knack for finding order in chaos to all she does.

Leah teaches Introduction to UX in the Continuing Education program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She also teaches Introduction to Design Thinking as part of the City of Madison Innovation team’s professional development offerings. She has experience speaking on a variety of topics relevant to human centered design, user experience, service design, and leadership.

Prior to her work at Widen, Leah’s experience includes roles as Design Researcher at Delve, a strategic innovation consulting firm; Digital Services Librarian at the Wisconsin Center for Education; Metadata Librarian at the University of Wisconsin Digital Collections Center. She holds an M.A. in Library and Information Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and a B.A. in History and Philosophy from Roosevelt University.
