Melissa Hines is a writer and an award-winning designer with nearly ten years of combined experience in the nonprofit and media sectors. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. Melissa’s professional passions include inclusive storytelling, design for social change, and cross-functional systems. Throughout her career, she’s worked with mission-driven organizations to help them bolster their internal creative capacity and develop branding and messaging that engage diverse audiences and advance change. Melissa’s design client work includes Her Campus Media, Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, Fenway Health, Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, UUSC, and AIDS Action Committee.

In addition, Melissa has served on the board of Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Boston as Co-Director of Communications & Marketing and AIGA Boston as Co-Director of Diversity & Inclusion.
