Meryl Friedman

Meryl Friedman is a multidisciplinary designer and art director working in print, digital, and brand systems. Her decade of experience has been primarily focused on in-house teams and nonprofits. 

She is currently an art director at the Brooklyn Public Library, where—as part of the Marketing & Communications team—she helps design and project manage a wide variety of initiatives. From concept development and creative direction to designing user interfaces, she has been closely involved in all expressions of the library’s brand.

Meryl previously designed for a range of private sector companies and nonprofit organizations, including Housing Works and General Assembly. Her freelance clients include The Design Gym, Dispatch Magazine, Dieu Donné, and Hester Street Collaborative. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
