Sharon Bautista is a Chicago-based user experience researcher and designer. She is currently Director of Qualitative Research at Code for America and has previously held research and design leadership roles at Mozilla, Discover Financial Services, and WPP, among other organizations. Sharon speaks regularly and teaches courses on topics related to inclusive design and organizational change. Most recently, she has been asked to speak at the first-ever New York Experience Summit, American Public Human Services Association (APHSA)’s Economic Mobility and Well Being Conference, Critical UX (a HmntyCntrd event), and Interaction. Sharon also serves as an invited mentor for the EPIC Equity Fellowship Program.
