Shelby Aranyi is a Raleigh-based designer and artist. Since joining IBM in 2014, she has enabled internal teams to champion, evangelize, and adopt human-centered design practices in IBM’s strategy, offerings, client engagements, and delivery workflows. Currently, she is a senior UX designer on key confidential projects for IBM; leveraging her background in designing services and behavioral change for global organizations with her expertise in UX to deliver great outcomes to market and create a user-centric team that delivers at scale.
Previously she co-lead artMEAT from 2015 to 2018, a multi-disciplinary non-profit arts group fiscally sponsored by Austin Creative Alliance. She also was a key leader in IBM Watson Education’s strategic partnerships, exploring how new technology can help teachers deliver personalized learning experiences to students in the classroom.
