Zalyia Grillet is a young Afro-Caribbean UX Designer who uses her love of human centered design to tell unique, innovative, stories through her work. Whether she is creating a digital product or curating a greeting card for a friend, she is keen on every single detail of her user(s). She loves to align different thought processes to create momentous exchanges, reshape business strategies through design thinking, and rewire the way clients intersects with technology through deep empathy and ethical design. Zalyia is currently creating seamless, innovative yet thoughtful experiences through digital platforms at Deloitte Digital.

In Zalyia’s six years in industry, she has mentor young designers and entrepreneurs as well as presented talks and workshops across the U.S. Some topics she is known for include human centered design, entrepreneurship, accessibility in design, women of color in tech, and diversity and inclusion in design. Her goals are to evangelize, educate and empower others, especially people of color, to learn how to create phenomenal experiences in any business, industry or lifestyle through human centered design.
