Abby Bajuniemi is a researcher, strategist, and experience designer. She completed a PhD in Hispanic and Lusophone Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics at the University of Minnesota, where her research interests centered on language acquisition and sociolinguistics. She also has expertise in language use on social media, dialectology, identity and language, and translation/localization.
She is currently a research and design consultant and specializes in research strategy, methods, and interaction design. She speaks on the topics of the role of language in diversity and inclusion in the workplace, language as usability, conversational design, and cognitive approaches to usability and user experience.
