Amy Vainieri

Amy Vainieri is a graphic design leader currently based in Silver Spring, Maryland. As a Design Director, Amy manages a small team of designers while also creating modern, innovative, and user-friendly designs for mission-driven organizations. In addition to graphic design, Amy is well-versed in Design Systems, DesignOps, and User Experience.

Over a fourteen year career, she has led teams of designers and project teams—working with clients including Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, Peace Corps, Cornell University, Doctors without Borders, United Way Worldwide, the United Nations Foundation, and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation to modernize and improve the effectiveness of their digital properties, print collatoral, brands, and communications. Amy has a special interest in election design, and has redesigned ballots and other election materials for Oregon’s state election division while awarded a Fellowship with AIGA.

Amy holds a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from SCAD-Atlanta and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Human and Natural Ecology from Emory University.
