Anupriya Sahu is one of the Co-Founders of and Design Head at Alankaram, an award-winning furniture design practice based in Indore. Established in 2013 with Co-Founder and Business Head Dhwanit Parmar, Alankaram has since been a pioneer in bespoke furniture design.

With over a decade of experience, her discerning eye for detail and collaborative work process have led to the creation of state-of-the-art furniture designs. Innovative yet experimental, her design sensibility seeks to push the boundary beyond conventional design and notions of luxury. As a result, Alankaram’s exquisite product range is a blend of cultural insights and fine artistry. Anupriya’s diverse body of work primarily revolves around designing and delivering tailor-made furniture with indigenous roots.

Under Anupriya’s expert stewardship, a home-grown furniture design studio that started with a small 7,500 sq ft workshop and a handful of skilled artisans has transformed into one of the country’s most extensive solid wood furniture manufacturing setups. With a product portfolio of 600+ unique designs, 2800+SKUs, a team of 200+ employees, and a 2,00,000 sq. ft. manufacturing workshop dedicated to developing a wide range of inventive furniture, Alankaram strives to redefine the design and decor experience for a discerning audience.

Anupriya’s uncompromising and unceasing passion for always creating something new reflects in Alankaram’s ever-evolving design portfolio. Today, the bespoke furniture design firm has delivered products to over 100 projects across India. As a result, it has a host of notable repeat clients, including corporate and media giants such as Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Netflix, Spotify, and Burda Luxury, as well as high-end residence owners, the likes of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Over the years, Anupriya has led Alankaram to receive wide acclaim and recognition from across the globe, including making it onto the Dezeen Awards 2022 studio long list. The brand has been widely featured in well known magazines and publications, including Architecture+Design, Architect andInteriors India, Hindustan Times, Times of India, and UK-based Interior Designer magazine to name afew.
