
Claire Slattery is an Oakland-based improviser, coach, and facilitator who helps individuals and groups transform their relationship to communication with improv, storytelling, and embodiment practices that align brain and body for an experience of joyous expression. For the past 10+ years, Claire has trained and coached the principles of Improv Thinking to individuals, teams, and companies all over the globe. She has coached speakers, facilitated speaker training, or been a speaker for organizations and events such as TED, Women Techmakers, Write/Speak/Code, Girl Develop It, Lesbians Who Tech, Grace Hopper Celebration, Google I/O, Adobe Summit, and more. Claire loves sharing the comedic, empathetic, and inclusive power of Improv Thinking on stage and off and is particularly passionate about working with women-identifying and non-binary leaders to free their voice, tell their story, and transform their impact. Claire is a longtime improviser and actor who has performed and produced her own original comedy work at Upright Citizens Brigade, iO West, and A.C.T. among others.
