Hanieh is an Iranian-Canadian independent design consultant and leader working in social impact and digital innovation. She specializes in human-centred design, product strategy, and user experience, and has worked across many industries including international development, public health, and community engagement, designing both online and offline solutions.
With 10 years of experience in design, some of the projects Hanieh has led and contributed to are researching settlement challenges for Syrian refugees, increasing mental health literacy and education among healthcare workers in Tanzania, and providing access to modern contraception for girls and young women in Rwanda.
Hanieh is also the co-founder of Thousand&One, a social enterprise that supports women of colour to thrive in their professional lives through community, healing, and growth.
