Julie Jensen has 20+ years of experience leading User Experience and Innovation teams in technology (Microsoft), retail (Amazon), research (Los Alamos National Laboratory), Financial Services (USAA, Capital One) as well as academia (Central Washington University, Indiana University) and start-up companies (Knox Financial). Ms. Jensen is responsible for opening the Amazon design studios in Austin and Madrid, Spain. Her product launches include Office 365, Amazon registry products, and a AI chatbot financial coach for Capital One. Her approach fuses design thinking, jobs-to-be-done, 6 sigma, agile development, data science, and innovation best practices to inspire teams through fuzzy ambiguity to execution clarity.
Julie also conceived the SQUACK formula to ensure feedback sessions provide actionable, clear, and motivational opportunities that harvest the capabilities of experts across disciplines.
