Mette Aamodt is the Co-Founder and CEO of Aamodt / Plumb Architects. She is also a Design Activist, Co-Founder of The Slow Space Movement and Blogger at slowspace.org. Deeply influenced by her Nordic heritage and passion for modern design, she focuses on simple forms and natural materials that are well-crafted and long-lasting. In 2002, Mette was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which taught her how to slow down and find balance. This has now become one of her most important projects – creating “Better Living Through Design” for long-term health and happiness.
