Sarah Hoaglan is a design leader at Fortune 500 company, The Home Depot, where she leads design and product strategy for merchandising and product assortment across North America. She is a vocal advocate for user experience and having an empathy-focused mindset to solve complex business problems. Sarah is passionate about community engagements that empower experience-drive professionals through productive collaboration.

Prior to The Home Depot, she spent 11 years championing experience-driven solutions for large enterprise corporations, including Sabre and NetApp. Sarah received her degree in Marketing, emphasizing in consumer behavior, at Wichita State University and her Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction at Iowa State University. She also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of North Texas, where she teaches students about design thinking and the product-development lifecycle.
