Susan is a Design lead at IAS Design with a decade plus experience in user experience/interaction design and entrepreneurship in Europe, South East Asia, North America, East, South, and West Africa. She has consulted and designed cloud computing services, digital mobile products, and product strategy for corporates and agencies and impact organizations that build for and empower users in developed and emerging markets.

Susan accumulated professional experience designing usable and delightful products and services in cloud computing, ag-tech, health, and fin-tech sectors. She got her design experience working with tech companies and design agencies such as Netlify, Amazon, IBM, Dalberg Design, and Frog Design. Before that, she ran her own company, M-Farm, and worked with Kenyan Telco, research firms, tech women & startup mentorship programs, and global social impact organizations.

She was named one of the 20 youngest power women in Africa of the year by Forbes and featured as one of the “Top 10 Female Tech Founders to Watch in Africa” by Forbes Magazine.

Susan has held speaking engagements on international and African platforms, including SXSW, GES (Global Entrepreneurship Summit), Kenya Ag & Africa Tech Forums, and GFIA. She facilitates design workshops during these events and often sits on different panels as a thought leader focusing on design and entrepreneurship.
