With over 15 years of experience in digital product design and design leadership, Yaprak has built a career spanning agency life, entrepreneurship, consultancy, and in-house leadership at some of the world’s leading companies.
Yaprak honed her craft in the fast-paced environment of agency work before founding her own design studio in 2009. Recognizing an opportunity in the market, she grew the business to a team of 10 designers, developers, and account managers, working with a client portfolio that included Sony PlayStation, Nike, and IKEA.
In 2014, Yaprak joined Fjord (Accenture), delivering service design excellence and design leadership on high-profile global projects for high-value clients.
In 2019, she transitioned to in-house design at Spotify, where she excelled as a design leader, mentor, and product strategist. A hands-on designer at heart, she also developed expertise in designing for Machine Learning.
Today, Yaprak is Head of Design at Goodnotes, leading a global design team and shaping the future of digital note-taking through user-centered design, product innovation, and AI integration.
Outside of work, Yaprak has recently taken up playing bass and has set a five-year goal to reach Bootsy Collins-level greatness.
