Alison Mora is a design strategy expert with a broad range of experiences driving human centered innovation. She has experience applying design strategy in client services, to founding a tech startup, to now working in-house on Adobe’s Design Strategy team.
She was a director at Jump Associates, a design strategy firm that combines social research, design, and business strategy to help companies create new businesses and reinvent existing ones. At Jump, Alison spent most of her 6 years leading teams of design strategists working for clients in industries ranging from healthcare, to CPG, to technology. After which, she became a founding team member and Head of Engagement at an early stage mobile app startup (Prefer) that helped independent professionals grow their businesses. At Adobe, she now works on big, ambiguous, cross-product initiatives to drive strategies that are innovative, human centered, and laser focused on business impact.
Alison is active in teaching design strategy and innovation methods. She has taught business boot camps hosted in California and Chile. An avid swing dancer, Alison has performed around the world and designed her own dancing shoe.
Alison holds 3 degrees from the University of Pennsylvania: a M.S.E. in Integrated Product Design, a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, and a B.S. in Economics from Wharton.
