As an immigrant Bengali woman that discovered my profound hearing loss at age eight, I focus on advocating for diverse, marginalized voices that are often overlooked, ensuring we bring humanity and intersectionality into tech. After a varied background including Biomechanical Engineering, research publications, and a stint in medical school, I led operations and product management for industry-shifting startups. My passion for social impact brought me to the Ad Council as the Director of Innovation, where I’m charged with creating digital products that make a measurable impact, scaling design thinking and exploring future-forward technology for the organization. With over 10 years of experience in user-focused product design and leading workshops for entrepreneurs in global cities, I’m leveraging my life experiences, startup mindset, and scientific approach to create digital products for social good and empower an innovative culture.
In my spare time, I teach high school students UX design, go on mountain-climbing adventures ( Mt. Kilimanjaro was my favorite), and knit more scarves than I’ll ever need.
