Divya Chaurasia is an award-winning industrial designer, with a background in engineering and user experience. An expert in user-centered research, sustainable practices and design for manufacturing, she has a Masters in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and Bachelor’s in Technology from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.

Divya has designed products and experiences for brands like Clorox, All Clad, Tefal, Bausch & Lomb, Cook’s Direct, Hunter Douglas, GoTrax, and Nectar. Her work has a strong focus on user-centered research, sustainable practices and design for manufacturing and has been exhibited at NYCxDesign (New York Design Week), NYC Media Lab Annual Summit, and CES. She has also received the prestigious Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award in 2021 and the International Design Awards in 2023 (honorable mention).

Being a strong advocate for using knowledge and expertise to give back to the design community, Divya often volunteers her time to speaker opportunities such as at the Industrial Design Society of America Technical Deep Dive and guest lectures, critiques and portfolio reviews at North Carolina State University and Pratt Institute. She is also a thesis mentor for ID Masters students at Virginia Tech University, and a Creative Liaisons Coach for the London International Awards.
