Sharmeen is the Product Leader of Viewer Engagement at Twitch, managing engineering and product teams. Her team helps creators build thriving communities on Twitch. Their products include chat, messaging, friends, safety, moderation, support, and more. She joined Twitch from Leeo, where she helped guide product development from design through beta testing, QA, and launch. Prior to joining Leeo, she was an engineer at Raytheon focusing on radar algorithm optimization and missile integration. She began her career at Hewlett Packard designing circuit boards for industrial printers. She earned both a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT and the Media Lab. In her free time, Sharmeen enjoys rock climbing, Bollywood dancing, and hiking.
