Who wants to make more sense? We all do. Sensemaking is a critical skill set that is widely applicable to most roles where you seek to serve others. It feels like a skillset that is becoming more important in a world that seems to be making less sense everyday. And yet, there is very little teachable education around sensemaking. In this talk Abby Covert, an information architect and author of How to Make Sense of Any Mess, shares her most recent curiosity: what it takes to make more sense. She will share three stories from various points in her career and introduce a sensemaking skills framework that she is now curious to find ways to strengthen in herself as well as teach to others.
