As content strategists and content designers, we step up to the task of reflecting the people who use our products. But as Black content professionals, we also need to see ourselves reflected—in our industries, in our products, and in our communities.
In Creating Mirrors: Representation, Self-love, and Black Influence in UX Content, we’ll talk to a panel of Black content professionals about equity, inclusion, belonging, and craft. Our panelists will open a window into their experiences in design and technology, from their first steps to their current roles. They’ll talk to us about where they see themselves in the design world now and in the future. And most importantly, we hope they’ll be a mirror for other Black content professionals and a reminder that they belong.
