Student loans are a big business in the United States. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) looked to help students understand what they are signing up for when they agree to various loan packages connected to for-profit schools dealing with low graduation rates or Federal enforcement actions. In this 2017 Midwest UX conference session, Naa Marteki Reed walked through the process of how a matrixed team at the agency developed a workflow to help borrowers understand the true cost of college before enrolling.
